Preparing Dancers for Success
For aspiring dancers ages 9 to 19
This two-week program gives serious students ages 9-19 the opportunity to cap off their summer studies and prepare for the season ahead. Classes are taught by the renowned BAE faculty led by Artistic Director Darla Hoover and Principal Jenna Lavin.
This year, in order to ensure student and faculty safety, the BAE August Intensive will take place online. The BAE faculty have beautifully mastered teaching on Zoom and look forward with great anticipation to providing every student with classes that both challenge and inspire. Class size will be carefully limited in order to allow for individually attention.
We are now accepting video auditions for the 2020 Online August Intensive through August 10, 2020. If you are filming the video at home and need to omit specific exercises for safety reasons, the faculty will understand. There is no fee to audition. Video instructions are included on the application.
