Preparing Dancers for Success

For aspiring dancers ages 9 to 19

This two-week program gives serious students ages 9-19 the opportunity to cap off their summer studies and prepare for the season ahead. Classes are taught by the renowned BAE faculty, led by artistic director Darla Hoover and principal Jenna Lavin.

We are hoping to hold at least a portion of the August Intensive onsite at BAE. This will be decided one month prior to the start date, when more information is available with regard to student, faculty and staff safety. In the meantime, we are very pleased to introduce to you the BAE Online August Intensive through Zoom. If we can hold classes onsite at BAE, we will still continue the virtual classes for those students unable to be with us in person.

Due to current events we are now accepting video auditions for the 2020 Online and In-Person August Intensive Programs. If you are filming the video at home and need to omit specific exercises for safety reasons, the faculty will understand. Please note that the $25 video audition fee is being waived through August 15th.
