Unleashing children's potential through dance
ages 2 - 6 years
We are excited to announce that the fall semester will begin on September 21st with both In-Person and Virtual programs being offered for our students. We look forward to having your children dancing with us online and in the studios!
In-person classes at BAE will focus on safety first! Classes will be very small and will be open to ages 3 and up. Virtual classes will be available for ages 2 and up. Many safety and cleaning protocols will be in place for our in-person classes, including a new air purification system, social distancing, masks worn at all times, continuous cleaning and sanitizing, daily health checklist, staggered class times, and much more. We ask you to please click on the COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines tab below to read BAE’s comprehensive safety plan.

Make-ups may be done in online classes only; no in person make-ups will be permitted. Make-ups do not carry forward into different school years.
Arrival and Health Checks
Be sure to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start of class.
ALL VISITORS to BAE will be required to complete an online daily wellness survey in the main lobby of the school, prior to going to the third floor. If the answer is “yes” to any symptoms, you will not be allowed entry to BAE.
Face Masks
Masks must be worn by all students, parents, caregivers, faculty, and staff at all times, when entering 1651 Third Ave. Students, parents, caregivers, faculty, and staff are expected to supply their own masks. Disposable face coverings will be available at the front desk for anyone who arrives without one.
Shoes
When entering the third-floor entrance of the school, EVERYONE will be required to put on shoe covers. Touch-less shoe cover units will be located at the BAE entrance.
Hand Hygiene
Hand sanitizing or washing is required before and after class. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout BAE as well as soap and paper towels in the bathrooms.
Dressing Room and Bathroom Facilities
Dressing rooms may only be used to access the bathrooms. Students will need to arrive already dressed for class.
BAE’s water fountains will not be operational. Students should bring their own water bottle into class.
To Parents and Caregivers of Young Dancer Division Students
Each child must have a parent or caregiver present in the waiting room, ready to assist their child should they need to use the bathroom, or just need a hug. Teachers will be social distancing throughout the class. You may arrange for a classmate’s parent or caregiver to be the chaperone for your child provided we receive email notification directly from the parent in advance. A maximum of one adult is permitted to chaperone each child. Siblings, including babies in carriers, any additional visitors, and strollers are not permitted on the third floor. Street shoes are not permitted in any of the studios. Valuables should not be left unattended. The school is not responsible for lost articles.
Importance of Timeliness for Class
Due to the detailed and carefully organized arrival and class procedure for in-person classes, it is especially important to arrive on time.
