Unleashing children's potential through dance
Promoting creativity and learning within children ages 18 months through 6 years
Due to the impact of COVID-19 we will be holding live-streamed classes through Zoom until we all can return to school. We look forward to dancing with your children online!
Note to Currently Enrolled Students: We are happy to share that online classes are now in progress and the schedule has been emailed to you. There is no charge for these classes as they are in lieu of your regularly scheduled classes at BAE. In addition, we invite your children to join as many weekly Young Dancer Division classes as you wish!
To Parents of New Students: You are welcome to enroll in our online Young Dancer Division classes. Contact us at email@example.com for registration and information.
How Live-Streamed Classes Work for our Current Young Dancers Division Families:
- Sign up for class using the link that you received by email from us.
- Download the Zoom app on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- You will be emailed a Zoom link to your child’s class 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the class. If you don’t see the link in your email, please check your spam folder, and then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Join the class 5-10 minutes prior to start time by clicking on the Zoom link. The “BAE virtual front desk staff” will admit you into the studio.
- Important: Please be sure that you are on mute mode at the start of the class.
- Your teacher will arrive just prior to the start of class.
Class Description: Zoom classes are structured to allow children to safely maintain their strength, flexibility, and creativity, in the comfort of your space. All classes will be taught by BAE’s beloved Young Dancer Division faculty.
What to wear: There is no specific dress code. Be comfortable.
If you experience any problems with the Zoom platform during the class please email us at email@example.com.
If you’re unable to join us online, we will also be offering on-demand classes very soon!

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a ballet-themed party at BAE for an unforgettable day.
Your child’s special day begins with a fun warm-up that leads into a personalized class with a festive birthday theme. The children dance a ballet birthday story narrated by the teacher. Each dancer receives a crown or wand to dance with and keep. Two studios are reserved for your child’s ballet birthday – one is for dancing, and the other will be set up with balloons, tables, and chairs for cake and refreshments once the dancing is done. Each party includes two highly trained, energetic teachers, a party host, and a pianist. We take care of the set-up and clean-up. Parents supply the paper goods, goodie bags, cake and any additional refreshments.
Birthday Party Prices
15 children and under: $895
16-20 children: $975
To schedule a birthday party, please contact our party coordinator Danielle Cortier at Danielle@baenyc.com.
Ballet Academy East and The Craft Studio are proud to bring our programming to The Children’s Museum of the East End this summer. Kids ages 3-5 will enjoy a morning of dance, story, snack-time, and art. Parents and children will love the cool and trendy crafts, and fun and creative dance classes!
