Unleashing children's potential through dance
Promoting creativity and learning within children ages 18 months through 6 years
Ballet Academy East’s Young Dancer Division instills a love of dance in an environment focused on developing individual potential. Students ages 18 months to 6 years benefit from increased coordination, self-confidence, musicality, strength, focus, and creativity through age-appropriate, structured classes. The Young Dancer Division curriculum equips students with the skills necessary for advancement into the Pre-Professional Division. Classes are taught by highly experienced teachers who all have a special love for teaching our youngest dancers. Each class also has a co-teacher and live musical accompaniment. Petit Dancer, Pre-Ballet and Tap classes are accompanied by pianist.

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a ballet-themed party at BAE for an unforgettable day.
Your child’s special day begins with a fun warm-up that leads into a personalized class with a festive birthday theme. The children dance a ballet birthday story narrated by the teacher. Each dancer receives a crown or wand to dance with and keep. Two studios are reserved for your child’s ballet birthday – one is for dancing, and the other will be set up with balloons, tables, and chairs for cake and refreshments once the dancing is done. Each party includes two highly trained, energetic teachers, a party host, and a pianist. We take care of the set-up and clean-up. Parents supply the paper goods, goodie bags, cake and any additional refreshments.
Birthday Party Prices
15 children and under: $895
16-20 children: $975
To schedule a birthday party, please contact our party coordinator Danielle Cortier at Danielle@baenyc.com.
