Experience the joy of ballet this summer

Summer 2026
For ages 18 months – 10 years

Join us this summer for classes that will instill a love of dance within a warm and positive environment focused in developing individual potential.

We look forward to having your children dancing with us!

Young Dancer Division: For ages 18 months – 6 years, through kindergarten. This program is an introduction to the basics of ballet with a focus on developing strength, flexibility , musicality and joy of dance.

Primary Division: For ages 6-7, first graders for the 25-26 school year. The syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of Level 1 within BAE’s Pre-Professional Division or the Children & Teen Division. (No audition or previous experience required).

Children + Teen Division: For ages 7-10. This program is designed for children who wish to further their love and appreciation of ballet, but in a less intensive environment. (No audition or previous experience required).

Young Dancers
Ballet
Ages 18 months: Students wear comfortable play clothes and are bare foot.

Ages 2 and up: Students who identify as girls – pink leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and ballet slippers. A single layer chiffon or fabric pull on skirt may be worn. No sparkle or sequin skirts. No tutus.
Students who identify as boys – white tee shirt, black shorts or pants, and black ballet slippers.

Tap
Students who identify as girls – any solid color leotard, pink or flesh tone tights, and black tap shoes. No skirts or tutus. Students who identify as boys – any solid color tee shirt, black shorts or pants, and black tap shoes.

Primary
Students who identify as female: Light blue leotard, pink or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. Tutus and skirts are not permitted.
Students who identify as male: White T-shirt, black tights, and black ballet slippers.

Children + Teen
Students who identify as female: Teal leotard, pink or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. Tutus and skirts are not permitted.
Students who identify as male: White T-shirt, black tights or sweatpants, and black ballet slippers.

School Policies
Please be on time for class.
Hair should be neatly pulled back.
Ballet slipper drawstrings should be cut or tucked in.
Please use the bathroom before class to avoid interruptions when possible.
Children must be supervised by their parents/caregivers before and after class. If you will be late picking up your child, please notify the front desk so we can arrange for a staff member to watch them until you arrive.
Please note that BAE is nut-free.
