Ballet Academy East is an exceptional place for boys and girls to start or continue learning dance. Our Primary syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of Level 1 within BAE’s Pre-Professional Division.
Classes include ballet vocabulary and exercises that develop strength, coordination, and flexibility. Children will experience musicality and the joy of dance in a nurturing environment. Prior ballet experience is not required. No audition is required.
For children ages 7 - 12
Primary classes prepare students for the rigors of Level 1 within the Pre-Professional Division. The Enrichment Division is designed for children who wish to further their love and appreciation of ballet, but in a less intensive environment. Classes provide exceptional training and are taught by experienced faculty in an encouraging environment. No audition is required.

Tuition is due at the time of or before your child’s first class. Payment may be made by check or credit card. We do not accept cash. Tuition is non-refundable. Credits toward future classes are issued during the first three weeks of each semester. A request for credit must be in writing to Lisa Bouley, Pre-Professional Registrar, at email@example.com. Parents are invited to observe their children’s classes. Cameras are welcome.
*The May 11-17 Visitors’ Week will include a very special in-studio presentation by the students. Costumes will be provided by BAE.
Be on time for class.
Parents and caregivers must be present while children are not in class.
Please be sure to clean up after eating.
We do our best to keep the school a nut-free facility. Please only bring nut-free snacks into the ballet school.
Valuables should not be left unattended. The school is not responsible for lost articles.
Children should not run on the premises and are expected to use their indoor voices.
