For boys and girls ages 6 - 7
Due to the impact of COVID-19 we will be holding live-streamed classes through Zoom for our current students until we all can return to school.
Currently registered families will receive detailed email instructions. We look to dancing with you!
How Live-Streamed Classes Work for Current Primary and Enrichment Division Families:
- Sign up for class using the link that you received by email from us.
- Download the Zoom app on your phone, tablet, or computer.
- You will be emailed a Zoom link to your child’s class 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the class. If you don’t see the link in your email, please check your spam folder, and then contact us at email@example.com.
- Join the class 5-10 minutes prior to start time by clicking on the Zoom link. The “BAE virtual front desk staff” will admit you into the studio.
- Important: Please be sure that you are on mute mode at the start of the class.
- Your teacher will arrive just prior to the start of class.
Class Description: Zoom classes are structured to allow children to safely maintain their strength, flexibility, and physical activity, in the comfort of your space. All classes will be taught by BAE’s beloved Young Dancer Division faculty.
What to wear: There is no specific dress code. Be comfortable.
If you experience any problems with the Zoom platform during the class please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ballet Academy East is an exceptional place for boys and girls to start or continue learning dance. Our Primary syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of Level 1 within BAE’s Pre-Professional Division.
Classes include ballet vocabulary and exercises that develop strength, coordination, and flexibility. Children will experience musicality and the joy of dance in a nurturing environment. Prior ballet experience is not required. No audition is required.
Children must be entering first grade in the current school year. If age 6 but entering Kindergarten, please see the Young Dancer Division information.
For children ages 7 - 12
While BAE is known for producing top dancers, we also offer classes for children who love ballet but do not wish to study as intensively as students envisioning a career in dance. Classes provide exceptional training and are taught by experienced faculty in an encouraging environment. No audition is required.
