Intensive Summer Training for

Pre-Professional Students, ages 7-13

For aspiring dancers ages 7 to 13

The BAE Junior Summer Course inspires dancers, ages 7-13, to reach their next level of achievement.The renowned faculty and proven syllabus provide students with the tools to attain technical and artistic growth – all within BAE’s uniquely warm and positive environment. The comprehensive curriculum includes ballet, variations, modern, character, hip hop, stretch, and health & wellness guest speakers.

Students not currently enrolled within the BAE Pre-Professional Division must fill out the Audition Application by following the link below. Once an applicant’s invitation to audition is confirmed, an audition fee of $25.00 will be processed. Current BAE Pre-Professional Division students are not required to audition.

You may attend all seven weeks, or customize your schedule and choose the weeks you are able to attend.

Lecture topics for Levels B-D will include: talks with professional dancers, nutrition, injury prevention, dance history, costume making, and emotional wellness for dancers.

Lunch, snacks and breaks are supervised by staff. Level C/D should bring daily lunch. Level B should bring lunch on Thursday. Levels B-D should bring a daily snack.


Any solid-color leotard with pink tights for ballet class and any solid-color leotard with footless tights for modern class. Skirts, sweatpants, leg warmers, and multi-strap or rhinestone-studded leotards are not permitted.


Black or white tee shirt with black tights for ballet class and any color tee shirt with footless tights for modern class.

Financial aid scholarships are available to those who qualify. Funds are limited and we recommend that you apply early. In addition to financial aid, Ballet Academy East offers a limited number of full and partial scholarships and housing stipends to male dancers.
